Dan and Robin wanted to make sure that their son Ben had a first birthday party that was full of Korean traditions and a lot of fun. Besides the amazing food and decorations, the Suh family made sure to include a game of Doljabi. A number of items were placed in a line in front of Ben and whatever he picked up would give a prediction into his future. Ben chose a book which means that he will be a scholar when he grows up! All of the party guests got to fill out a ballot to guess what item Ben would choose. There was certainly a lot of cheering during the game! This was the most fabulous first birthday party I have ever been too! Ben has a lot of loving family members that will support and encourage him on his path to becoming a scholar!
